CM Finca Valmediano (Toro Denomination of Origin) is a red wine made with Tinta de Toro grapes , in Valdefinjas, from the grapes that come from Finca Valmediano; a pre-phylloxera vineyard planted in a goblet on poor sandy soils located in the Duero river basin.

In the elaboration of this wine, the selection of its grapes is triple: First in the field, then bunch by bunch and, finally, grain by grain. After fermentation, this wine is aged in new French oak barrels from the most prestigious cooperages for 16 months.

THE VINEYARD

Poor soils with a sandy texture. Old plantation in a free-standing goblet of the Tinta de Toro variety in the year 1930. Maximum load of 3,000 kg. per acre. Located in the Duero river basin, at an altitude of 650 meters above sea level, with a marked continental climate and great temperature fluctuations between day and night.

VISUAL

CM Finca Valmediano is a red wine with a purple hue.

NOSE

On the nose it is powerful, intense and complex, with aromas of very ripe black fruits with balsamic tones of aromatic plants between tones of aging (cedar wood, licorice, India ink, etc.).

MOUTH

A wine that has a warm and powerful structure is appreciated, with a lot of personality and a long and persistent finish. It is a wine with a great aging capacity.
