It is a 95-year-old goblet-planted vineyard that self-regulates its production. The farm sits on a loamy terrain with rounded, siliceous and limestone agglomerate with abundant alluvial soil. To make this wine, a triple selection of grapes is carried out, first in the field, then bunch by bunch and finally grain by grain.

THE VINEYARD

Poor soils with a loamy texture with limestone agglomerate and abundant alluvial soil. South orientation. Centennial plantation of post-phylloxera Tempranillo. Maximum load of 3,000 kg. per acre. Located in the Duero river basin in an area with a Mediterranean climate with continental influence and an altitude of 750 m above sea level.

VISUAL

It is a red wine with a very deep cardinal tone with intense purple tones, very covered in layer, clean and bright.

NOSE

On the nose it is frank, intense and very elegant, with aromas of ripe red and black fruits from the range of cherries, morello cherries, fresh blackberries and blackberries and tertiary aromas from its 16-month aging in new barrels, highlighting liquorice, coffee , vanilla, clove and an elegant mineral touch of graphite.

MOUTH

On the palate we are facing an intense and meaty wine, very elegant and velvety, repeating the complexity of the aromas that appeared on the nose; red fruit, coffee, licorice and roasted.
